Patisserie Swallowtail serves up some blood and gore with these Tokyo Ghoul dishes

Patisserie Swallowtail* has gone bloody with their new collaboration and are serving up dishes inspired by the man eating denizens of Tokyo Ghoul … don’t worry, they are not really serving human meat there… right?

This Kaneki Mask Cake is inspired by Ken Kaneki’s now-iconic Ghoul mask and is made of chocolate mousse, chocolate “Kagunes”, a raspberry and some raspberry sauce and it costs 680 yen.

The Tokyo Ghoul cookies*may be the least “bloody” item in the menu and perfect for those who could not stomach the series’ gore. These cookies*feature the series’ characters printed on top of them and costs 450 yen.

When ghouls get hungry and crave human flesh or when they are about to fight, their eyes turn black and their pupils red, and those “Ghoul Eyes” inspire these cookies which also cost 450 yen.

The Tokyo Ghoul ice cream meanwhile offers a nice contrast of sweet and spicy as it features a fiery Jalapeno ice cream served with some sweet chocolate, whipped cream and fruits to cool it all down. This combination may have inspiration from the ancient Aztec custom of mixing chilies with chocolate and it costs 800 yen.

The Anteiku Sandwich special meanwhile is inspired by the sandwiches the Ghoul-run Anteiku Cafe serves to its human customers. As Anteiku promotes friendly relations between ghouls and humans, one does not need to worry about the meat served in this sandwich because that is definitely not human meat (right?!). The sandwich is served with one Ghoul Eye cookie and costs 680 yen.

Those who avail of these ghoulish treats will be getting some nice Tokyo Ghoul screenshots. The collaboration menu will begin on September 27, 2014 and will end on October 16, 2014. These dishes can be availed over at Patisserie Swallowtail’s annex over at K-Books on the third floor of the Radio Kaikan Building in Akihabara.
