During last night’s*AniSama event, fans were treated to a special cosplay by renowned voice actress, Nao Touyama , as she shocked fans by appearing on stage while cosplaying her Kantai Collection character, Kongou.

When she appeared on stage as Kongou, fans immediately went wild as the battleship is one of the online browser game’s most popular and well known characters. She even made one of Kongou’s most well known poses, as seen in the image above. There’s no doubt about it, she really is Kongou herself.
Nao Touyama is best known for voicing Nisekoi’s Chitoge Kirisaki and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU’s Yui Yuigahama. She is also known for voicing The World God Only Knows’ Kanon Nakagawa, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere’s Margot Knight, Kiniro Mosaic’s Karen Kujou, and Saki’s Ako Atarashi. The fact that she also voices Kongou gave her cosplay a whole lot more legitimacy as well.
