Code Geass sequel announced, to also get compilation movies

During a special 10th anniversary event for*Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion in Chiba, it was announced that the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV anime will be edited to be released as a 3-part movie. This 3-part movie however will be released to prepare fans for something big!

What’s this big thing that the movies are prepping the fans for? They announced that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion will be getting a sequel anime titled* “Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection”, and it is set several years after*Zero Requiem.

And director*Goro Taniguchi has confirmed it, LELOUCH IS ALIVE! Yes folks, he confirmed it, and said that this sequel ain’t an alternate universe, but an actual continuation of the Code Geass story! Now who is hyped?
